How much would you pay for a top shelf hooker?

Damien Cook is on the market, chasing $800K a season ($4m over 5yrs) from the Bunnies. To come to the wooden spooners I doubt he’d take less than a $900K. Is a good hooker worth that kind of money? He’s not a stand out leader like Cam Smith from what Ive seen, but he creates mayhem with his running game. Cook is only looking good because he's playing behind souths' great white apes (Burgess bros) and same story with the Blues pack. He ONLY runs when there's NO MARKERS or when the markers are caught in no mans land. If he played with us in 2018 whilst we had all our injuries & fielded a reserve grade pack, no one would talk about him.

How far off is Schneider from 1st grade, might need to bulk up a bit but from all accounts he is one of the best and smartest young hookers around and a natural leader? So why waste any money when we have him and Mahoney and KP on the books? Cook is amazing when he gets in behind the markers, I reckon Moses should jump into dh occasionally and try to catch the defense napping with his pace off the mark.
