Not sure if anyone knows how Poore's contract is staggered, do we have much left to upgrade the likes of Horo and mannah as well as find a younger meaner prop for 20011.

Even great 7s and 6s get caned behind beaten packs.

Our run lat year was built on better ball control and more punch out of dummy half, shit we miss Kingston, I would have let a few others go to keep him, he is a gem, we've been left MKas our starting 9, I'd drop him and start with KK. at least he offers something with the ball in hand or kicking

  • true i think kingston wood fit our style of play i wood get rid of mk no offense but i think he stiffens our attack i wood also drop kk for tom humble maybe he has that spark i dont mean any disrespect toward matty and kris but i feel we need that bit extra in attack to get our season underway i would also drop horo nd put reddy on the bench as a forward when luke burt comes back
  • Forget Kingston. He was good for us but we have other guys to fit the bill.

KK to 6, Morts to 7, MK will stay at 9 even though i think he stinks and Humble should get the nod at 14 kids a freak. Horo should not be dropped he actually looks good and Reddy is not a forward he will get smashed. Keep Reddy in the centres and when Burt comes back you could always drop Grothe back to the bench as a running bull in the forwards. That will help our go forward and fix our wing defence.
    • Hindy is signed for next year, so we don't have any of that money

caylo's money would have been spent in the upgrades of hayne, morts and taken into account in offers made to Mateo and KK.

Anyone thinking we will sign a 'name' player for next season has rocks in their heads
      • Do we want a name player for next year?
No offence to the Shack, but the 3 big names we bought have scored 1 try, made maybe one big hit, let in some tries with poor reads in defense and run around like marshmallows.
It is only week 4 though.
  • Mk would really suit wenty's style of play, i think he should play there the rest of the season along with robson. Anyone watch bradford vs leeds last night, even english league is more entertaining then watching the eels of late. They actually spread the ball, now buderus is what id call a hooker even at his age he carves up.
  • Not sure what you are referring to with Hindmarsh replacement but he is still contracted for this season and the next 2 after that and will finish up with the Eels at the end of 2012
  • imagine how slow he will be by then lol
    • Hindy ain't the type of player that would just cop the money and play at 50%

if his time is up, and he is a liability in anyway, I have no doubts he'd walk away regardless of his contract status

"If he wasnt released mid season , they would have tried very hard for next year. Have a feeling that's why richo released him early so dogs couldn't get him as they would have no cap or spots for this year"
