Hey coach - yeah mate ok he made 3 missed tackles to DB 2; and according to NRL did not make any errors. If you're pointing the finger at a 19 yrs old then good on you, that's your view.

Snakey, my point being he was not as bad stats wise. To me we lost it from the forwards and ruck, and it didnt get better from there onwards. The backs had no impact after the forwards were shown up.
Mitchy he was very poor last night.
In the first half he average one touch a set and that was to kick it. He never takes on the line and is petrified of getting tackled.
He kicked it dead twice plus all of his other kicks were kicked straight down the wingers throats.
He was also targeted by the bunnies in their first two tries and he makes our defensive line nervous every set. The kids not up to it, and Snake is right - one good game does not mean he's a future immortal, heck even Luke Kelly played well from time to time but this kid isn't anywhere near as good as Kelly was.

It's the Dynamics Mitchy, JA is below average the way he plays really affects the rythem of the attack - when DB took charge we started to look more dangerous but that didn't last long . Also 2 7 tackle restarts was poor
Totally agree. The only defense is that the rest of the team were shit as well, which is absolutely true. That doesn't change the fact that Jake Arthur isn't up to it though.

If you want to think of him as a young kid who due to injury stepped up to first grade and is doing his best then great.
But if you think he is one of best players who has to be in the 17 somehow each week and in the finals then you are deluded. And this is what TCT and BA think.
Wile is right but I do not believe we should comment on the Nepotism angle, the kid is just not ready for first grade and I do not have to see a stat sheet to recognise that.
Secondly "coach" is a fcukwit of enormous proportions and no one should take any notice of what he says, regardless of the correctness or otherwise..... Coach don't like BA, JA or any A.....we get it coach, try singing a different tune.

It's either a case of subconcious nepotism or the coach has run his race. I'm thinking it's a classic combination of both.
I blame the coach for releasing him too early and to be honest it doesn't look like we have any cattle. Even for next year I think we will hit rock bottom again.. Look at Kaufusi, makatoa and penisini, they were promising but they ain't bringing the team to another level.
