You spelt Penrith wrong . They've had something like 5 of their 7 at home.
They play Dogs , Tigers and Storm at neutral venues . The draw is a debacle and has been for years . I bought up a week or so ago we play 2 games at home between last week and Round 18.. but a lot of teams suffer from stupidity . The Warriors played 7pm last night (Monday) and get the 3pm Saturday slot lmao . Could've at least chucked them on the Sunday .
Pretty sure the Eels, Storm and Panthers all have 12 home games this season. Some teams just end up with them being a bit more front loaded than others.
Name one other sport in the world where the home / away schedule is in huge blocks like that though. It's a problem for a lot of teams (not Penrith ) . Penrith going into season 2023 won't have played in Melb since 2018.
They've actually got 11 home games and 13 away game when you look at it. Their round 10 "Home Game" is in Brisbane for magic round.
From round 16 to round 25, which is 10 matches, only 3 of them are at home. They're just getting their home games earlier in the season.
For us, from round 16 to round 25, we actually get 6 home games to 4 away games, and three of those away games are in Sydney. So 9 of our last 10 won't even see us leave Sydney. Our one interstate game is against Brisbane in round 24, sandwiched between 2 home games.
The Storm do have 8 home games in the first half of the season with one being at Suncorp for magic round but have 4 in the second half of the season. Once again the Broncos are the draw winners with Suncorp magic round being an away game for them. Once again the big loosers are the Warriors.
Breakdown of home games:
First 12 Games Second 12 Games
Storm: 8 inc Magic Round 4
Broncos: 6/ Magic round away 6
Titans: 6/inc Magic Round 6
Sharks: 7/inc Magic Round 5
Panthers: 7 5
Souths: 7 5
Raiders: 6 6
Bulldogs: 5/inc Magic Round 7
Roosters: 6/inc Magic Round 6
Cowboys: 6 6
Dragons: 6 6
Tigers: 5/inc Magic Round 7
Knights: 5 7
Manly: 5/inc Magic Round 7
Eels: 5 7
Warriors 6/inc Magic Round 6 ( In Total only 4 in NZ. )

If you're good enough you win anywhere.
Seriously, go to NRL.com and look at the draw. It's not hard to work out that all teams have 12 home and 12 away matches.
Seriously who said we didn't ?

Ummm... the OP:
"I just want to find out why the storm have so many home games, and barely any away games?"

Pretty sure all teams get 12 home games a year as every year. We play 6 of our last 8 at home, which we might need coming into seasons end

Brisbane have an away game on magic round. Which is bs they essentially get an extra home game compared to everyone else.
