Horrible defender Taka for more horrible defender Blake

Everyone is calling for Blake to be dropped because of his defence. Not only do I agree that Taka (I know Taka is better at someone at defending) will be better at defending than useless Blake, Taka will create so many more opportunities. Taka has great aerial ability like Blake, however Taka has better footwork, and guess what ... can offload and pass the ball meaning Fergo will have a chance of scoring this year. Surely BA will make this move. I like the idea how Brad shows trust in his players and give them a chance to bounce back next week, but Blake has had his chance. He needs a couple weeks of to develop his defensive game and slowly develop a passing and offloading game. We have signed him for a while, so might as well give him a few weeks off so he is better for the long run.

  • BA won't change things. To scared to lose the dressing room and his job

  • I may have a reason for Blake poor tackling this year. If everyone remember's Blake dislocated his shoulder in the world 9's last year. He was racing the clock to be fit for round 1. He didnt play in the trial games. So this means that during the pre-season he would be in rehab most of the time and not have done any contact. So the hole pre-season he must of not done any tackling. During the COVID-19 break, when clubs were back at training, they coulldnt do contact training for a bit. So personally, it could be the fact the Blake is underdone from pre-season or he has no confidence in his shoulder to tackle properly.

  • Waqa and Sivo need a few weeks off, not just one. I couldn't care less who replaces them.

  • Mate we just haven't got time to give them time- they have been ordinary for a while. What happens if they pull their finger out against sub standard opposition next week and the get decimated moving forward , we are then back to square one.
I truly believe that we fix the flanks we will be fine, the forwards are great. At least get rid of Blake and Sivo.

  • Let Blake play his way out of it.

    He can do the job.

Just hit the film room hard.
