Hoppa, Norman or Both

I appreciate that it is early days for Hoppa in the #1 jersey and that Adam Reynolds has potentially the best kicking game in the competition, however is he a genuine #1?

Playing as a junior in the 1 jersey is one thing, but his positional play leaves a lot to be desired more so in defense. Sure Jarryd had the same struggles however he compensation was the fact that he is a devastating runner and ball player.

Fast forward 12 months, I would hate to C-Norm benched or even worst lost to the blue and gold to retain Hoppa in the 1.

I see Hoppa as a long term 3 or 4 along with Taka. C-Norm back at 1 with Chrissy and Foz in the halves. Through Peatsy in at 9 with Choc at lock and .............. WOW!

What everyone else's thoughts?

Im not convinced Norman is a FB either. His passing is his greatest weapon and thats why he wants to play in the halves.

I understand why people want Foran and Sandow, however I see Norman and Sandow neck and neck in the race for the spare halves slot and the winner is still to be decided. I have Norman slightly in front on performances.

I may be wrong, but Sandows biggest weapon is his 40/20, but I cant remember seeing any yet.

I think if we keep Sandow, then Norman will take up a 5/8th role in another team.

Hoppa, well he needs to prove himself and hasnt yet, and depending on contract talks may also be going.

Paul if it's his decision to leave and the club is agreeable we won't be paying anything. I hope he stays, but not sure what position he will play in.

Hoppa is a classic centre and really needs to be moved there sooner rather than later. He's certainly a lot stronger this year and is one of the best in the comp at creating for his winger. He just doesn't have the pace a FB needs. I think Robbo to FB this yr and Norman there next year. I just hope Normy is happy to go back there.

At the moment hoppa is our best full back and Norman is our best 5/8 leave them there till next year. I believe Hoppa's best postion is centre and a real good back up fullback.

I'd much prefer Norman at fullback over Slothoate.
