Hoppa agrees to terms with the eels

HOPPA AN EEL

There have been rumblings that Will Hopoate could be heading to Canberra or even back to Manly next season but the 22-year-old is set to announce a new three-year-deal with the Eels.

“No, he has agreed to terms with the Eels,” Hopoate’s manager Tyran Smith said of rumours he could leaves the Eels at the end of the year.

  • Agreed mate. A current Origin player (probably won't be come Origin time) and also within the top 51st percentile of human beings.
  • I agree, not the best start to the season, but he'll find his form.

  • Don't mind me I'm just getting rid of the BS articles on the front page

    • x a million.

I wish it were possible to like comments on this site... if so I would.

  • Great news. Always been a fan of Hoppa.

Hope he can sort out his injuries and show the form he's capable of.

  • Not a huge fan, but knowing Hoppa's dedication towards working hard at training, hopefully his pace will improve, as the remainder if his game is above average.
    Ball skills :-)
    Defense :-)
    Work rate :-)

    Pace :-(
  • great news, good to see club loyalty both ways. My son met Hoppa at the Brisbane game and what a nice bloke he was. My son also got to meet BA before the game and what a great bloke he was. Not many coaches would take the time to talk to a young bloke before the game but BA did just that. I am stoked to have him as our coach and you watch he will have parra really firing overt the next few years

  • 140k + free daily access to the Tingah chinese reaustarant and the Firehouse.
  • If you sit in the Thornett stand, get there in the first half of the Under 20s and you'll see BA sitting in Bay 10 with a coffee and watching the game. He'll usually have a quick chat with any fan that approaches him. He's become such a regular feature there now that no one is really surprised to see him.
  • Chief - no reserved parking spot for a Malvern Star bicycle?
