Hopoate's role

Which in your opinion is better for William Hopoate?, try him at Fullback and use useless players like Morgan, Toutai and unproven Goodall and Folau or leave him at centre and place Norman at the back. To be honest if you had to pick someone who is NRL ready to play no.1 if the season started tomorrow it would be norman, Hopoate had 2 years out and played 2 years with Manly, not 1 game he played fullback. He hasn't played fullback in the top grade, Norman recently did in 2013 with Brisbane and another plus if Norman goes to 1 you can replace him with Matterson or Dockar-Clay. Yes theyre unproven but have more upside. With Hopoate at 1, unless we buy SKD, Avua'a or Beale keep him in the Centres
Do you guys think for his career he needs move to Fullback? or do you think with a full pre-season and surgery for his niggling injuries he will be better at Centre?

Fullback for me. No brainer IMO.

Hayne hadn't played any games at fullback either, until Luke Burt got injured halfway through the year, and that turned out pretty well for us. I thought Hoppa played a fair few games at fullback because Stewart was out injured. I could be wrong though.

  No you are right, Hoppa played mostly fullback and wing and 1 game at 5/8 for manly and held his own in all positions and IMO he also did for us this year and will only get better at the back for us.

1.hoppa-mainly because he has excellent passing game and in he's second year he's running game and speed should improve massively!

2.semi-enough said

3.takarangi-iv picked takarangi not only because he has probably the strongest running game of our centre but he can always pop an offload away which I think in turn will benefit semi enormously. I think we should see taka putting semi into space plenty of times in 2015.

4.champion-imo champion is a solid buy nothing to special but is more then capable player. Iv picked him mainly on defence.

5.crooks-don't know anything about him other then he's stats. I think he could be a handy attacking player but we won't know until he has a run. Iv placed champion inside him to help him defensively get used to nrl standard. (Could swap him out for buereta,touti or Robinson not fussed all need help defensively)

We are paying him to much to hide at centre. Make him earn his wage in the middle or cut it.

Players must play where they show some ability. Hopoate should be on the wing as he hasnt shown that he can play anywhere else.

he will certainly get his hands on the ball more in FB and thats a good thing.
