Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs fullback Will Hopoate has been taken to hospital following a heavy collision in the Bulldogs loss to the Roosters.
Hopoate left the field late in the game following a sickening head clash with Roosters forward Zane Tetevano.
He has gone to hospital for a check up on a severe concussion and there could be a fracture around his eye. We will get it checked out,” said coach Des Hasler following the loss.
The Bulldogs have confirmed this morning that Hopoate does indeed have a fractured eye socket and are awaiting further scans to confirm if surgery is required.
Kerrod Holland has also come away from the game with an injury, with the club confirming that he suffered an AC joint injury to his right shoulder. He too will need further scans to assess the injury and recovery time needed.

Not good but he'll have plenty of Sundays off now.
Bulldogs have no Sunday games in that 4 week he will miss.
In fact the Dogs only have 4 Sunday games in the first 20 rounds (last 6 rounds haven't been confirmed yet.)

Apparently he works in mysterious ways Wiz...
He was having a decent game too. Amazing that he held onto the ball as well when the injury occurred. Hope he gets better soon and would never wish an injury on any player. But yes Wiz I agree, there's no God controlling any of it.
do you believe in fairy tale spirits in the sky ? No
Sorry you can't take little Jimmy to the zoo today .
