  Hoppa has apparently agreed to a reduced contract. This story would really be about his manager trying to get a better deal. We don't ring other clubs to take a player who is off contract. This takes the cake!

  Hope it's true. For the cash we are paying him there are Plenty of others that can do the same old dummy half runs he always does. So predictable. Has to be a massively reduced contract otherwise get rid of him.

  His previous contract value is irrelevant as he is off contract.
  He also was on only about $400k on our cap, then third party deals

  The way he has been playing he is a 200k player max.

  The fact that he was picked for origin was ridiculous and he doesn't have the pace to be an effective winger or centre

  As I have said I think he needs to spend an off season in the gym doing compound weight exercises and come back and play as a back rower.
