Anyone want to talk about him? Barely heard his name. His stats are good but I do not like how BA is using him recently. He has offloads and a passing game yet BA is making him play like RCG. I was really hoping we would see him play lock and develop a strong connection with the spine.

Really disliked the way BA played him tonight. Did nothing but take hitups. He is much more effective as a ball-playing lock. Hopefully he shifts back there soon.
Parra is at their best when we dominate the middle third and offload. Hopgood is built for that. We were way too conservative tonight and basically invited the Tigers back into it. The sides that no one expected to win are all playing expansive footy this year. We need to ask more questions and Hopgood could be vital there.
That said, we have a problem at Hooker. A significant problem imo.

Yep so conversative with the one out shit. Our attitute was horrible. We came only to play not to win. Moses carried us so hard. JH was better defensively this week but nothing out of attack. Hopgood needs to be our lock full stop. Matto is best used as our impact bench prop. Leg speed and offloads through the middle.
Agree Hands should be permanent and Hodgson to reserves for 8 months
Hodgson seems to take way too long to get the ball away a lot of the time.
We were a little too conservative in the 2nd half but after all the unforced errors in the first half we needed to reign it in a bit, probably not as much as we did. Our defence was the problem not our attack, missed tackles, dropped kicks, no line speed and poor first up contact.

I can't understand for the life of me why BA cannot adjust our game as we play ... surely he sees where we are failing, but lacks the grey matter to fix it.
