Hope Panthers Don't Win 3 in Row

I really hope that the Penrith Panthers don't win 3 premierships in a row breaking a 40 year drought and equalling the great Eels team of the 80's. In my personal opinion they're not even anywhere close to being as great as the 80's Eels were and I really question some of the refereeing and bunker decisions against some of teams the Penrith Panthers played against in their finals series over the past 2 years. Their NRL draw hasn't been anywhere near as terrible as the Eels has and yet they're the premiers. I'm not sure which team in the NRL would be able to stop the Penrith team this year. I did think maybe the Eels would be their biggest threat but that's now more unlikely. Possibly the Broncos or Souths but not too confident.

  • Call me a unicorn, but at full strength I reckon we can win it.

Just need to take it a week at a time into the finals then reset and take them all down.

  • Yep. If it's not the Eels this year, then anyone but the Panthers would be preferable

They really should've won 3 already. They dominated in 2020 but couldn't get the job done.

  • I think they win it again. Only south's and eels can stop them on their day.

  • Anyone but the Broncos and North Queensland. Lol

  • Including the Roosters to that list

  • Hope they win next 3 games in a row. More chance of resting players towards the end of the year. No unicorn here

    • Do you mean the Eels win next 3 in a row? It's possible

  • Who knows ...them joining us with a three-peat might just be the point where karma soon allows us to win our next.

Tad may have some cosmic explanation for that.

"I don't believe this hearing Feb12-13 is about compensation but just whether (or not) Parra can continue to stop Lomax joining any NRL team without our permission.
If it expands to other issues it will be dragging out for a year or so."
