Honeti Tuha

I don't have time these days to follow NSW cup so the nines is a good chance to have a look at some Wenty players. I have to say Tuha is a good prospect, very pacey and looks to have a footy brain. Also rugged defensively. How did he go for Wenty last year?

  • He came to parra with some raps, he's the reason we can let go some of our crappy backup backs.
This weekend he's looked great defensively and hasn't had much ball on offense, but looked good on his one run today.
    • He looks a much better all round footballer than Vai Toutai and John Folau and whilst I don't mind Fairimo an improvement on him as well.
  • Might replace semi next season
  • Started at winger before progressing to fullback. From all reports was the star in the team. Another to stand out is Schulte, after a rough initiation where dropped to RM Cup, was bought back and improved in leaps and bounds. Awarded with AKL9s spot.

  • I remember watching Honeti Tuha play for the Knights in the NSW Cup Grand Final against Wyong before we signed him, he destroyed Wyong that day, I was very happy to hear we snagged him, his not a superstar, but, I'd have him on a level close to that of Ken Sio.
    • I agree not a super star in the making but could be a very solid first grader
    • 100% Michael

  • pacey and very nimble sideways as well

  • I think he has jumped Folau and Faraimo in ability but as he is second tier he won't be able to play many games in the NRL if his form deserved it.
