  I actually tipped the Eels to win by 8! I had this feeling they would lift tonight maybe for Gutho, Brett Kenny, and of course Brad Arthur and each other. There's a real team closeness that I've not seen at the Eels for a long time! Brad Arthur has brought that plus a great front office with no issues helps.

  I thought we could win if we completed at a high percentage and guess what we completed at 88%, which was our best this year (only the second time we completed over 80%).

  I was confident this would be the game we would finally click and play for 80 minutes. But must say I was ready to turn off at 12 nil.

  Quite a number, but I did say we could beat them. I also said that we are not at our best coming off a bye. A number of regulars said we are no chance though.

    I honestly thought we could cover gutherson as we have depth with French there at fullback. I was more worried when we lost beau scott earlier in the year. As for winning I thought we were a chance if they aimed up. It was their gf last night in a way. Was I Confident? I won't be confident when we play Newcastle. Parra have taught me over the years to never be confident of victory

  I was confident but after 8 minutes I thought f*** but the boys got back into the game and controlled it. Joey said broncos by 20 or 30 lol@ joey John's.

  I didn't, usually I go into each week with butterflies but this week I had all but conceded we were going to lose but to the boys credit they stood up to be counted
