Honest Question.

Honestly is everybody else as confused as I am as to what the problem is with the team? I watch them and just get confused with what is wrong with them, to be honest I just dont see it, because it seems like so much is wrong and then each week it seems something different is wrong.Another thing i will say is I questioned a while back why michael jennings never seemed to be bagged while everyone else was, watching him the last two weeks makes me ask that question again, he really lets me down.

  • Your point about Michael Jennings says it all. Our problem isn't singular or specific. It's different players each week (or every couple of weeks) that are making the mistakes and/or giving away terrible lazy penalties. NRL is a strong comp and we can't catch a break.
    • Spot on nitram and so if you cant even drop repeat offenders as it is different players having bran farts all over the place. Does it start with particular players I doubt it people have blamed Hayne, mannah and are looking at every possible solution but no one can come me up with it apart from the obvious sack the coach. I actually think they need to do something completely different this week take them all away on a camp and completely relax and refresh and start again but knowing ba he will continue to do the same thing and keep floggng the horse and just expect things to change with “hard work” and doesn’t look outside the box

  • You seriously can't see what's wrong? I'll make it very simple for you: Our kick return metres are very poor which means we're getting dominated by the defence from the very start. Our weak forward pack has further compounded this. This means we can't get any field position at all unless we get help from the refs. Our halves don't know how to fix the problem because they have so little space and are down on form and confidence. It's all spiraled out of control and our low completions and poor discipline has made it impossible for us to compete let alone win.

    • Agree completely. Add to that that our 3 dummy halves are not nrl standard and we have no effective on field leadership.
  • My point is that everything is wrong...
  • Lots of opinions here. But the obvious one is that the team is just not competitive.

  • No semi no wins... if we had semi we would have at least 7 wins. Arthur failed to show him the money and we are paying for it big time
    • Plus the forwards are shithouse
    • My kingdom for a semi.
  • Yep, my thoughts exactly. And I have no answers.
I don't think it is Hayne, he has hardly played.
I don't think its the players not liking BA. Many of the players have been with BA over many years and they have always worshipped him.
Its not that BA is a bad coach. You don't lose ability to coach over night. We have played some really handsome and tough footy under BA in the past. Paul Green is not a bad coach either - something is simply amiss.
It could have something to do with Norman and Moses. Moses is a very confident/arrogant player who likes to own the team. However, it was Norman's team before he got there and it would grate on both of them to compete for dominance. However, that alone doesn't really explain a 2/9 start.

Other than that, I'm out of ideas. Something is not right, that's all I am confident about.
