They may as well make it a rule that all Semis are played at the same location if only some teams benefit.
This all came about after 2009 when we played the Dragons at Kogarah in week 1 of the finals.I don't think it was changed straight away but all finals are played at the biggest grounds in the region.So all Sydney Allianz/ANZ Brisbane Suncorp etc.
When you talk about the money side of things I am pretty sure that any money made from the game i.e gate takings are split between the teams

26, 500 is Townsville Stadium and I think they do get a home game. I don't agree with Parra not getting a home game but it is about money not fairness. I guess the other thing is you might not get 25,000 people to a Sydney venue for a cows final but you will probably get 35,000+ to ANZ for an Eels final
Yes it's about money.So for e.g if it's Cowboys 5th v Dogs 6th they play the game at ANZ ?
Because using their logic ANZ is a better money earner and bigger capacity.
Macy, it is 5th v. 8th and if the Cows run 5th they will get a home semi in Townsville. I think this is mainly because you would be lucky yo get $25,000 at ANZ and you will get a full house in Townsville.
