NO this has nothing to do with the TV show.
I have heard about the Eels bad away from home record this season but decided to see just how bad it is.
As usual it turns out to be nothing. The Eels away record this season stands at 4 wins to 6 losses. It's realy not that bad so I don't understand how the Eels are constantly slammed for their away form. On the final 5 game run home we have 3 home games & 2 away so that puts us in a great position leading into our final run to make the top 8.
The teams with 3 home & 2 away games are: The mighty Eels, storm, raiders, rabbits, sharks, broncos, cowboys & dragons.
The Eels remaining away games are againt titans & broncos so it is definatly possible for us to end on a 6-6 away record.
P.S. The inconsistant Eels have only lost one game since round 14 so I really don't think we are going that bad & seem to be getting better each week so I hope we continue to fly under the radar.
Enjoy the Great season we are having.

Again raw numbers don’t tell the full story. It’s the nature of our performances away from home that tell the true story.
178 for, 256 against.
Our awful performances in defence have all been on the road, Newcastle 28, Melbourne 64, Sharks 42, Manly 36.
It is a problem
Yep, Agree. It appears to be improving though, overall.
In R13 when Nathan Brown came back it was 2nd worst. Now it's 12th (5th worst). I think he's made a difference.
Yesterday's win, since R6, was only our second win away from Bankwest (Darwin home game was the other).
And yesterday was the lowest score we have kept any team to all year. Even if Dragons aren't great.
No away wins last season and 2 of our away wins this season were at our home ground so before yesterday's away win things were pretty bad. If you are happy with 1 real away win in 1 and a half seasons then good for you.
Im loving our season we having
Thanks Arnie, Me to.
The two away games we still have to play are against Gold Coast and Brisbane and ironically our recent away record against the Broncos is better than the results we've had against the Titans at their home ground in the last few years.
I worry when a top 4 team turns it on, we have no answer & seem to roll over. Sorry we didn't give up against the Raiders. But the Storm & Roosters worry me.
More worrying is our away from sydney record Newcastle,Canberra,Brisbane (magic round) all bad defeats.

This is the classic STOOPIDITY that haunts the Eels minds.
FOURTY PERCENT away win ratio is "really not that bad."
FFS - no wonder you creamed your jeans when we signed Mr Must Have FOURTY SIX percent as coach.
