Hindmarsh Optimistic

http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8244113

"We are capable of coming out of this one," the experienced backrower told reporters on Tuesday.

"Finish up today, get the rest of the week off and then we'll face the Cowboys.

"I think we've got the team to get out of this hole, definitely."

  • oh hindy!!!! god love ya!!!
  • just like the game plan they had to beat the dragons last week

does he really mean it? or is he just putting on a brave face?

surely he is not going to say that yeah, we are screwed

i feel sorry for hindy...................he must now be conceding that he will finish his career without a premiership

  • that worked well didnt it. more throw away lines
  • A positive post. Thanks Phil, been a crap day at work and spent way too much time staring at this site getting more and more depressed.Thankyou very much for ending the day on an upbeat note
  • Really, there is very little between all the teams in the NRL thyese days, even the dragon can crumble to a team like the sharks if they have a bad day. I would hate to be a gambling man in this current comp. I think I saw some good results of the structure building in the last 20 of the game on Sunday, no points, but a work in progress. Just a little bit more oiled, and Hayne back in the mix, and things could change very quickly, even with the halves we have. I would give Morts another year or two, he still looks very much a kid, wheras Sandow probably had pubes when he was 10 lol. Morts works hards and could become great with a bit more toughness and maturity. I really think we need to replace Robson though, no offence him, but 1st grade is just to quick for him to handle well, ever.

Humble at 6, Poore and Webb back, and we might turn a few heads.

  • You know he thinks like this ? Because he knows the talent that we have in Billy Rogers
  • This is good. Finally Hindmarsh is sounding upbeat. I have been critical of him being down and despondent and how that affects the players but it's important for him to stay optimistic.
  • As much as I love and respect "our" Hindy he really is starting to sound like a politician.

Does he blog on this site under the name of Tinkerbell?

Not being nasty Tinks but you ARE the most positive person on here and will ALWAYS see the good in our boys regardless of our situation.

  • Is he just optimistic of getting 2 pts out of the bye?
  • First off

I would like to see some changes in the halves

Second I know that repeating 2009 is next to impossible but remember that we didn't start our run in 09 until round 18 or 19 and up till then we were fav for the spoon with only 4 or 5 wins

we have 3 wins some ugly but who gives a F&#$# a win is a win.

"I think he will be on bench, maybe Wing but doubt it. Get him on the field around 50th minute with a tired Manly pack, who are big. Walker is a Utility, but also he can be seen as a middle. 3 forwards and Papali'i is still a steady bench, that is…"
