  When Hindy went in to get his shoulder checked out they found a problem with his wrist so he had it operated on. It was just run-of-the-mill end-of-season maintenance - I'll check back my recording to find out if it was mentioned how long he'll be out for, but my guess is he'll miss all the trials.

    Yeah... I remembered he had that shoulder problem worked on and I wasn't sure if it was a misprint by the paper or it was something new... appreciate the info Phil.

  I spoke to Hindy at the V8's at Homebush in December, after he had participated in a Telstra trivia challenge. He had plaster on his left arm and needed help to open a water bottle. I asked him about the injury and he said that he'd had an operation to repair ligaments. He was taking pain killers, so I guessed the operation hadn't been too long ago. It was impressive to see him honouring sponsor obligations so soon after his operation.
  I didn't ask how long he would be out but it seemed like it was something that had been planned for the off season.

  Already? We haven't had one game yet and we've realised Hindmarsh has had problems with his wrist and ligaments in his left arm? I'm scared already for him. We do not want Hindmarsh to get injured again. Injury is my biggest worry of 2010.
