Hindmarsh

Guys and Girls......

Just a thought in regards to our captain in waiting...........

Would he be better suited as our lock forward? I just look ar players lick Michael Luck and David Stagg, those type of forwards and think Hindi would be better suited there. I feel that Smith and Shackleton would do some damage running wider and have our captain roaming around doing what he does best.

Does anyone else think its a good idea?

I just feel we would have a good balance across the park then with Horo & whoever else ends up cutting the bench. On that my bench would be Moi Moi, Webb, Horo, Mitchell. I just feel that this would give us the most impact off the bench. Obviously it'll change a little depending on our opposition though  :-)

  • It's not a bad idea Dave by any means, but I think the plan of attack from the club, based on the re-signing of Horo, indicates to me that they had the intention of making him the starting lock, given that that is where he played the majority of this footy after coming on for Mateo, and keeping him there, as he becomes part of the core of our club for the future.

I've no doubt that Hindy will want to make adjustments to his attacking game though, as he'll look to try and provide a bit more spark.
  • Agreed , im not going to the footy, to watch grown men lick each other!
  • Seems like another one of iPhone's great typos lol
  • He pretty much is the lock, he just wears number 11.
  • Who is your starting hooker if Mitchell is on the bench? Perhaps McGuire?

I really can't see a place for Matt Keating next year.
  • Same Camo, I would have the rotation between AM, CM & Morts. humble & Murray halves
  • Too true, they seem to have heaps of hassles typing things, plus the Dictionary on it isnt the greatest
    • It really isn't!

I remember once I blogged that Ben Smith was a wonderful toilet, when I was trying to say he was a wonderful toiler.

You can imagine I was very embarrassed calling my favourite player a lavatory!
      • hahaha funny as Tinks. Were you able to edit it in time?

Not saying that he is as I rate him highly as a player, but did any one accuse you of saying "Benny" was a shithouse performer?
        • NEVER!

I think everyone knows me well enough to know I would never even suggest that about Big Smiley Benny Smith! <3
