Hiku decision to be finalized next week.

The future of Manly international Peta Hiku looks set to be finalised next week as three Sydney clubs ramp up their bids to secure the New Zealand-born outside back.Hiku’s manager Stan Martin confirmed Parramatta were the first club to place a formal offer, while he was expecting St George Illawarra and one other Sydney club, understood to be South Sydney, to put in their offers by the end of the week.“Parramatta has made an offer, but there are two other clubs involved as well,” Martin told The Daily Telegraph.“At the moment we are just getting the offers together and we’ll sit down with Peta and go through the offers when we’ve got them all, which we expect to have in by the end of this week.“Peta has already met with St George Illawarra and he knows the people from Parramatta, so we’ll wait until he has met with this other club before we make any decision.”Hiku has two years remaining on his contract at the Sea Eagles and Martin couldn’t rule out the prospect of the flyer fighting to honour his deal at Brookvale, which expires at the end of the 2017 season.

  • Name your destination?
  • Hiku will be an eel.

    • No chance. You can take that to the bank.

    • Don't bet a jersey on it Snakey - that can go tits up real quick!
  • Eels.
    • But but but...you said he was a done deal Chief?

I will kill myself if you are wrong and Hiku is NOT an eel like you have said for weeks?

My life hangs in your hands Chief. I thought you were the messiah?

    • Don't do it.
  • Why are you guys so certain? I've read nothing other than speculation to suggest Hiku will be an Eel.

    BTW, I hope you're right.

  • Get it over and done with FFS!

  • I think this is just his manager saving face by making the other clubs think they have a chance even though they dont.
