As a number of members have noted I left the site in the last week. I've also noted the concern some have shown, which I must admit I found touching.
That being said, let me assure my reasons for leaving were in the main unrelated to the site or any of its members.
My main reason for leaving is that I am currently dealing with a situation with my ex wife with regards my children. Consequently I need to focus on dealing with this situation, as everyone can imagine I'm under a great deal of stress presently.
Secondly, I found myself spending an inordinate amount of time here, it was becoming an unhealthy obsession, I was finding myself getting bogged down in debates that were becoming too heated and personal for my liking. So when I decided to leave I just closed my account and slipped away quietly. It's not my style to make a grand exit. I honestly didn't think anyone would notice my absence, certainly not so quickly. So when I left, other than checking up on the site for news about my beloved Eels, my intention was not to come back. However, I couldn't help but notice the concern for my welfare because of my sudden disappearance. That's on me, my apologies if I caused any alarm. I honestly didn't think anyone would care.
So, I am OK, I'm just dealing with issues in my life that need my full concentration. I genuinely appreciate the concern from guys like Snake, Cosmo, Fong & Frank, amongst others. Let me assure everyone that any conflict I've had with anybody here played no part in my leaving.
