You have started something great for yourself at Parramatta.
If you are going to leave, then the time to leave is after winning a premiership.
If you leave before that all your hard work here will be worth nothing.
The way the world works is that you are judged by these landmark achievements.
Also your brand should earn you more than your contract will. You get a premiership with Parramatta and your brand will be worth a fortune and it will stay intact if you leave to try something else. Leave now and your brand takes a big hit from which it may not recover (in Australia).
Your manager may not get commission from your brand, so his incentive is more short term.
Do the right thing and things usually work out for the better.
PS I have learnt the hard way that moving from one career path to another without making the landmark achievement is a bad idea. I excelled in what I did, but did not stay long enough to plant the flag. Never realised that this meant that I get no credits. Now I am in a world of lost opportunities. Just trying to share some of what I have learnt that may be relevant to you.
This is similar to an old hitchhiking proverb about how long to stay at each location: stay until you have had your perfect moment then move on.

Hey Semi...
If that was too much for u to read.... He is saying PLEASE DON'T GO!!
But don't think it is in Semi's bets interest either to move on until he has planted the flag at Parra
But two by 2020
But seriously we are equal fourth on the ladder with one half
When Foran is back next year we are definite contenders
We should have been contenders this year if there was not infighting in the board
Anyways Semi, shut your grill for now, suck it up n play.
