Yes its rebuilding time yet again. This year promised so much and has ended up in tatters. The one good thing we have is BA and his coaching staff and number one priority is securing him for the long term. He is the only consistant thing at the eels at the moment. We still have a good roster for next year. Number two priority secure Corey Norman we can build a strong attacking team around him and he actually wants to be at the eels.Next prio rity is the possible return of Jarrod Hayne. Im a bit half heated about this the way he deserted us for his dream and Id hate to see him come back only to discover a new dream to play netball or something. But the Hayne Plane in eels colours will be very uplifting to eels supporters and he will solve our 5/8 problems.I love Semi and still have hopes that he comes back but if he chooses French Rugby the eels and the NRL have to play hardball and that will be the last time that he or anyone else that switches codes while still contracted to an NRL club will ever play NRL again. We have to make a stand on this and its a shame it has to be Semi. His manager should loose his accreditation with the NRL as well.
The board and CEO. Ive got no idea how we fix that but something needs to be done and done right.Im comfortable with Shubert as CEO, he knows his way around the NRL and knows how to deal with players and has respect within the NRL community.
Lets hope the eels rise out of this years chaos, we cant afford another year like this.

Brett my friend in the last few weeks we have lost one of the best hookers in the game (a very big mistake on our part).Weve lost one of the best props in the game, our big million dollar signing doesnt know what he wants to do and our superstar winger is awol. I do think this constitutes the need to partially rebuild the side. The first part of rebuilding for next year is resigning BA and Corey Norman.Im sure you would agree with that Brett.
