  Next time you have a brilliant idea - please keep it to yourself.

  Now please explain WHY anyone in their right mind would start chopping and changing a team that is winning?

  I'm not sure what is your worse quality here... Your football ignorance or your overall arrogance. Allow me to explain... Yes we had a good win, an ugly win. We got that win by aiming up especially in the second half. By your logic gutho should be fullback. That aside, if you stop to think a little more broadly you would realise a few things ----
  . Semi is getting less ball. That is ok when all is good but he has swapped into left centre a few times last season well. Why not give him more ball?
  2. Toutai ----I can't believe I even need to explain this to you in terms of "keeping the same side" ... So I wont
  3. There are reasons why some people don't keep improving as they are happy with short term results -- BA is not one of you. There is always room to improve.

    When you start to EXPLAIN your reasoning people actually begin to understand what you are on about - as against just posting a list of names with positional changes and saying - what do you think of my superior football brilliance.

    Yes - I do think Gutho played a far better game from the back but my idea is not set in cement - if you remember other comments within the blog I believe you are referring to you, will notice the people within that particular discussion assessed the pros and cons based on *NEXT YEAR*sigh* and basically agreed to any change over being based on the outcome of the current NRL's long awaited penalties against the club and also considered the progression of French.

    Semi is getting less ball.

    We all agree on this point - but not necessarily agree on the reason behind this.

    First and foremost - Jennings is a ball hog. I took particular notice of him against the Dogs and I am certain HE NEVER PASSED THE BALL once during that entire game.

    Now if you care to remember THIS fact has been one of my complaints since he was announced to be playing inside Semi.

    PLUS I am being proven correct in my statements that Semi would NOT score many tries in 2016 as long as Jennings is in that position.

    The ONLY way Semi is going to see more ball is to piss Jennings off to the other side of the field.

    @Browny - yes Semi is being covered more closely BUT that is not the main reason I see as to why he is not being given opportunity.

    I am not a great fan of Toutai and can see your point re Faraimo - however which of the two are top 25 or 2nd tier? This does have bearing on the composition of the team.

    In your point 3 I am a little confused - but think you are on the right track in saying Brad would be always looking for improvement.

    I have expressed my doubts of him too many times to take this much further - BUT - some things have NOT improved as fast as others in our game and the outside defence is of major concern to me.

    Now to my ignorance - please refer to your own comments @ 3 - I am one who believes the more you know the more you still have to learn - so feel free to enlighten me with expert knowledge at any time.

    As for my arrogance - You betcha baby and I am dammed good at it.

    So - in summary it would appear that I had already considered most of what you said with a much broader view of the situation.

  Not a bad idea as toutai had some bad reads on D. So until taka goes back then it's not a bad idea. Regardless they should definitely try that move every now and the and switch semi to centre for a attacking play close to the line. I think they tried two or three times last year with 2 tries as a result. Was a great move by BA.

  I think semi would be smothered at centre atm and we would be wasting his style of footy.

  When he gets older and slower yes, but not while he is at this point, i think he'd make a good centre but it wouldnt benefit us now.

    Don't get me wrong here. Semi is brilliant In his position and I'm not saying to move him permanent but while foran is out and taka is at 5/8 I think we need more stroke than Toutai
