  • I've got mine.

    Haha, Penrith, you suck.

  • don't think so.. It's for a set timeframe..
the NRL should up the prize, and do it for the duration of the off season!
  • Umm, just a suggestion maybe next time try not to use suggestive phrases "Help the Eels beat our rivals off"

  • This whole promotion is poorly thought out. If we had waited until now to renew our tickets to help Parra win we would have lost our seats and be forced to sit somewhere else. they should either do it for the whole pre season and see who has the most members by kick off in round 1 or do it for the first month of renewals.

    • Yeah that was my thought exactly.. Why not do it from day 1 of the off season, rather than for a few weeks before the season starts!!

  • They could double the number if they put some more thought into membership packages for us interstate supporters.

    • Ooooh don't get me started on the membership packs!!! The Eels Membership area is soooo friggen stubborn and proud, it's like they put no thought into it at all...

  • I think that the marketing department at Parra needs to sharpen up a lot . Sure there may be some nice people there , but it is lacking professionalism and real business sense. A lot of us went to the season launch and saw on the invite that there would be an "exclusive eels gift" for everyone who attended. On the night , we received nothing, and when I rang the marketing department to chase it up,  i asked a young lady about it . She didn't know what was going on, and after being on hold came back to me and said "they are only available on request". This is absolute rubbish especially for a lot of the genuine people who forked out of their hard earned to be there on the night. No lucky door prize as promised, and a poor selection of items on auction that no-one bid on. A bit of creativity there to come up with some money can't buy eels experiences would have seen a lot more money raised for a good cause. Finally , many of us still haven't received our packs as yet which made it difficult on the fan day as well. Very poor effort all round, don't know whether budgets have been cut in marketing , but board needs to think very carefully about fixing it up if the Parramatta Eels brand really capitalises on its potential !!!

    • Yeah totally agree.. There is so much potential.. It's just a shame that our marketing department are so stubborn in their ways, that they cannot capitalise..

They rely too much on the die hard fans to spend $160 willy nilly on new jerseys and whatever..
