Hi everyone,
I’m a long time reader/ lurker on the site and decided to sign up today as a member. I would like to let you know that I love reading the blog posts on this site and I’m looking forward to contributing to this wonderful Eels community.
A little about me - I was born in Western Sydney and have been a Parra supporter a long time, with all my extended family. It’s a big part of our identity. I could go on for a while haha, but yeah… I love the club and watching the games. I watched every Parra game last season. (I don’t have Foxtel, so I went down to the local club to watch most of them).
The main reason I finally signed up to 1EE is so I can contribute relevant blog posts about the Club and the Players. I read NRL news on a few different sites and sometimes 1EE misses a few (minor) stories. I’m keen for any stories relating to the club, so I might repost some articles for the benefit of other members. I also have a few of my own ideas for blog posts discussing certain things relating to the Eels, so I might post those too.
Ps . I’m not interested in having arguments or getting worked up on this site like I’ve seen other people do…. I just want to talk Eels haha.
Thanks for having me :)
I was actually going to post a link to a Willie Tonga story about an hour ago, but someone's just beat me to it! Poor old Willie got knocked out after 12 seconds in his first SL game!

Welcome aboard, nice first post lol, i'll give you a day or two before your getting worked up and having arguments lol but nice sentiments :)
cheers
Thanks Snake. I've read many of your comments and blogs. I'm looking forward to posting a couple of my own to contribute to the discussion, rather than continue as a 'lurker' haha.
I'm sure you will like your stay.
Enjoyable site have fun.
Go the eels .
You're David Gower, aren't you.
Welcome aboard Dave... ahem Gower Power
Thanks :) Gower was one of my favorite players last season. Some used to say he's a little old or just a bench player (like with Manly), but it's his attitude which is fantastic. You can tell that he really tries and wants to win, which is why I chose a picture of Gower bleeding for Parra. Perhaps I'm talking him up, but I wish all our players had his attitude.
Love David Gower - good honest, professional player. Takes it seriously and wants to win. I just had a flashback to a game last year where they had some enormous bandage on an arm or leg... he just kept giving it 100% - getting battered. Eventually he was taken off for his own good. Wich I could remember which game ... : /
Welcome Gower Power!
Haha... I didn't even realize. I thought, so long as I don't call myself 'Snake' or 'Fong' I should be right ;)
Just paying tribute to one of my favorite current players :)
