Maybe watch the game next time. The kid did well.
Exactly , when you actually watch the kid with open eyes. He does his job. He may not be busting tackles and scoring try's , but he makes his tackles , makes bugger all errors and there has always been little signs there that he can play. There has been much more senior players making more errors than JA. He is merely a stop gap who is slow , but has playmaking abilities.
Mahoney was terrible tonight , but all we read were anti Jake comments.

I've been a critic without being a hater, he performed well overall tonight, still a lot of defensive work and defends needs to engage the line more but I think he played the game plan that was set out for him very well, nothing fancy, don't take over the game, just be solid and do a job and he did that. It is good to know that he is capable of a decent performance. Was also good to see him get the win and the comments from JT afterwards, important for young blokes to build confidence.
