Haze

I haven't been a fan of his but he's had a few good games of late and I thought tonight was his best. He dropped one ball but otherwise defended well and ran strongly all night. I'd be happy to see him replace Fergo next year. Just needs to put on a few KGs in the off season.
And we're in good hands with Will Penisini. I like that kid. Played injured towards the end but still held his own and the future is bright with Haze and Will.

  • Another good off season and another 20 games he'll improve big time he's got a real future. He did a great job

  • Haze and Will have earned their spots. Both are now genuine first graders. Not fringe, not make-shift but genuine, NRL quality players. Good for them.

    • Agree.

And here is a surprise from me, well done Waqa tonight, showed a lot of heart and energy.

      • Next year I would love to see a backline of 1. Gutho 2. Dunster 3. Perham 4. Penisini 5. W Blake

I think Blakes carries are really good. He gets quick play the balls and his speed gains many meters. He doesn't seem to be developing in terms of attack under BA, so keep him on the wing where he has the speed for line breaks. I recon Perham would be a great strike centre. Got good footwork and acceleration If his defence is good I can see a good combo. Penisini will have a massive future. Dunster was gaining a lot of meters for someone quite skinny. He has the ability to get his head through tackles to gain meters. I would still try make him put on a little weight.

        • I'd like Perham to get a shot at fullback and move gutho to centre I feel our attack stutters when gutho tries to ball play

          • I don't see Perham developing into a top tier fullback. I can see him becoming a top strike centre in the NRL.

  • Can Dunster play fullback ?

    • Played there in juniors and for wenty. Not sure if he has the play making ability

  • Yep Dunster has a good future. The next job is to get Sivo into his 1st year form and develop Naiduki into the next Semi.

    • I worry about Sivo getting back. He was struggling massively prior to his ACL. I wouldn't be surprised if he never gets back.
