Anyone that played reserve grade on the weekend can't play first grade this week because they are outside the covid bubble. It will have to be Cartwright this week.
Queensland government is allowing in thousands of people from interstate, it would be ridiculous to say, "No, these four elite athletes who live in western Sydney can't come here because of three cases 40km away. But we'll happily have these thousands of people we have no idea where they've been."
Jordan Rankin has been training and playing on the right side as a half all year and playing well he should be the player selected to fill in for brown.
He is the logical choice. But it could be a opportunity to play a young player Rankin has had alot of 1stgrade and super league games to show that he's not a long term solution.
I'd give young Arthur a go.
Or completely left field if covid restrictions prevent players playing.

I'd imagine the Eels would be applying for an exemption as we'd only be able to field 17 players which is below the 21 required by the NRL.
It might be out of the NRL's hands, the qld government my have a say.
