Hayne wins Dally M player of the year

Jarryd Hayne is the 2009 Dally M Player of the Year after stringing together six consecutive three point performances to overrun both Jonathan Thurston and Jamie Soward to be this year's runaway winner.Hayne finished on 30 points, three in front of Johnathan Thurston, with Jamie Soward a point behind in third place.Hayne also was named fullback of the year as well as being a finalist for representative player of the year.Bulldogs players dominated the night. None of the other Eels finalists got over the line with Jamaal Idris knocking off Daniel Mortimer, Jamie Soward winning the Provan Summons fans award and Ben Hannant getting the prop gong over Fuifui Moimoi.
