Knowing the NRL they wont grant that cap exemption to bring him back cause we're not Brisbane or Sydney City or Souths
and I agree deep down I hope he succeeds cause knowing us he'll play somewhere else, but me wanting back out weighs that
That's your opinion LB and time will tell, for mine Jarrod will make a special teams list with SF and will also be understudy in several positions including but not limited to running back. I actually think Jarrod also has the potential to be a MLB in defence. Personally I think Jarrod will only come back to the NRL to maybe finish the last couple of years of his career and look for a move into the media after he finishes playing.
As a note I actually played a bit of High School gridiron in Canada, so whilst you may know the NFL there is actually others who will match knowledge of the game and some..
And I'm sorry but no way Hayne will make a middle linebacker, I'm open to be proven wrong but He wasn't the best tackler in NRL to be the main tackling position in NFL
Not really a fan of NFL outside of playing some Madden but it seems that positions are extremely specialised. When was the last time an NFL player played on both the offence and defence? I don't think a person who's new to the sport at 27 is going to play on the ball and off the ball, it'd just be too many playbooks to handle.
He will succeed, I would love to see him return but I know he will succeed. He is a born athlete and the biggest loss to NRL, not just Parra. He was a star in SOO, played for Australia and was rated as one of the best FB in the game, he's young and determined to succeed.
what about the long service payment?
Eto isn't really a champion try scorer. He scored a fair few in NSW cup, but reserve grade form doesn't always translate into NRL success and reserve grade also favours players who are naturally gifted in attack.
well said Ham
Surely he'll get bored with the lack of game time he gets. I mean - it just drags out, with stopping and starting. He's not going to be the superstar playing 80 straight minutes like in the NRL.
