Hayne tougher to handle than 80's Eels

Forget Brett Kenny, Steve Ella or Peter Sterling. Bulldog Chris Mortimer said the 80's Eels had nothing to compare with our present day legend Jarryd Hayne."We never had to defend against a bloke with so much ability," Mortimer told The Australian."He's something else. I have never seen anything like it before. Brett Kenny and Stevie Ella and blokes like that were hard to tag."This bloke is double their size. I don't know what to tell you. The only way I would try (is) to get up on him and cut down his options but then again he's likely to chip over you. I don't know. He's just so complete this bloke and so casual. No one knows what he's going to do."FULL STORY AT THE AUSTRALIAN

"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "

Joeyboyz replied to Hector's discussion Young Joash papa extends
"I think Joash is a good player, but from what I've seen only at fullback or on the wing. Those positions we've got pretty well covered, so I guess he's a great back up option. I'd like to see him in 1st grade, but I dont know how he fits in?"
