Hayne to half ( I know not another blog)

Before anyone complains, I apologise if this has been raised and will happily delete if it has.My theory, in defence Hayne plays at fullback, he controls the line and takes the kick returns. In attack, Hayne slots in at first or second receiver, and sandow/Norman (both capable) cslot in at fullback. My reason, Hayne draws in 4 players every time he has the ball, which almost always creates overlaps. He made mullaney look good when they swapped because the defence always took Hayne which opened up the line. At fullback Hayne always seems to be given the ball at a 3 on 3 or 4 on 3 situations where he has to beat an opponent or two to create the play. Also, with the acceleration sandow has, he's proven near unstoppable when given a situation where he has a lot of space. What does everyone think? Even if we just use it as a play, it's proven successful in the past.

  • Hayne is a better fullback than he is a centre, or halfback, or five-eighth. He could play anywhere in the backs and still do a great job but he is a much better fullback.

  • Id say opposite, his defensive reads are shocking but his tackling ability good, therefore frontline in d and backline in a

"Blore is average. We are top heavy for forwards, very light on in the backs, now you want to get rid of two backs for an average forward. I'm glad Mon is part of the recruitment team, and not you."
