French isn't a pimple on Jarryds ass at the same age sorry ME, Bevan is a good attacking player, the buck stops there, Bevs shown nothing more than he has good instincts and is a good finisher, he's a very poor defender and doesn't have the ball skills JH has, jarryd had the whole package at that age.
so you would spend $2 million a year on Hayne age 30 , and let go of talent coming through the ranks.
Hayne time at the eels has finished. time to move on. the side has actually stepped it up since his departure. Hayne is not worth more than $800K per season.
