The only realistic way that JH could have entered the NRL in 2016 is by doing what he has done. Resign from NFL with reasonable time before June 30, trial and train with Fiji 7's for an intense 4-6 week cardio program....... and if not successful, walk straight into an NRL team ........ or State of Origin final game reasonably fit to play close to 80 mins.
........... and if a deal hasn't already been done (just ask Corey)), have the time to negotiate behind (semi) closed doors.
As fate or fantasy would have it. Makes for an interesting script ...... or documentary!

If he does play NRL he wont come back to this such a loser of a club
I dont think the WADA clause is mandatory ie the sport administration has (I believe) discretion to apply the sit out clause as it see's fit.
Article 5.7.1 of the WADA code is drafted in a manner consistent with the six-month exclusion provisions of rugby league's anti-doping rules; however WADA does not demand that article 5.7.1 be adopted by sports as it appears in the code, or at all.
Yeah, I reckon he'll end up back in the NRL. Just a question of when. Can you play SOO if not contracted to a club?
