Hayne lay-off a blessing: AAP

Parramatta coach Stephen Kearney believes Jarryd Hayne's enforced lay-off may be a blessing in disguise for the Eels this season.

 

"I think sometimes it has an impact on guys who play a lot of rep footy, that when they are forced to have time off due to an injury it is a blessing in disguise for them," Kearney told AAP.

    The rest may be the best thing for him, he could come back mentally and physically refreshed!

    Mr Kearney is a thinking man and fortunately not so far removed from his own playing days as to forget what it is all about.

    He also is not pressuring Hayne in the media but allowing him time to come good.
