Hayne in frame for Origin 2

The Dragons have confirmed that due to a hamstring injury suffered by Brett Morris on Sunday he will be out for 3 weeks. This means that he will be unavailable for Origin 2. IMO There are no wingers in the competition that are currently origin level, Hayne seems to be the most logical choice as he has played 10 out of 11 Origin matches on the wing and will be the most experienced member of the NSW backline if he is picked. Come on Ricky we all know that your only option is Hayne.

Lets start the chant

HAYNE FOR NSW

HAYNE FOR NSW

HAYNE FOR NSW

  • he has to be there. But would rather he play at FB to be honest
  • I would rather Hayne at FB but Sticky is too proud to put Hayne at FB because it pretty much means that he got the selection of Dugan wrong.
  • Gidley will play wing...
  • Ricky would rather pick an injured Morris and omit him just before kickoff then pick Hayne!!! The guy is a jerk!
  • Hope Hayne gets picked, but he will probably pick Gidley.
  • Stuart this Sunday -
    "Hayne is no longer a 5 / 8, he is a winger!"
  • Gidley to fullback, Dugan to wing.
  • Gidley should be picked on the bench as a utility player. He hasn't played wing for years and Dugan can only play FB (and he can't even play that position well) whereas Gidley can play pretty much anywhere except prop and Hayne can play FB, wing, centre and 5/8. What do you want Ricky? Versatility in Hayne and Gidley or a shit FB in Dugan.
  • I dont understand the push for Hayne to play in Origin 2. We need him badly!! With the closeness of the competition a finals berth is still on the cards. If we lose Hayne for origin then lose a game by 2 points whilst he is out and then we miss the top 8 by 2 points, well it just aint worth it!! Bugger Stuart and his golden boys!!! We know they need him but we do so much more...
  • The reason there is a big push for Hayne to play Origin 2 is that NSW need him if they are to win the series. Parra don't need him the week before origin 2 because I don't think that we can get beaten by the BYE.
