Brent Read talked about this on Rush Hour on Friday. Union and AFL players that are poached are exempt.
I mentioned today i thought Jarryd was going to use union as a bargaining chip but i didnt see this move coming, surely the NRL wouldnt let this happen lol, they will pull out another rule for players who were RL players.
Simple, put him in head gear and call him Michael Gordon. No one will be the wiser as Junior proved!
Would still be at the discretion of the NRL like the 'war chest'. Plus they may feel differently toward us than other teams.
