"This is possibly the weakest attempt I've ever seen from an ex trying to incriminate an NRL player. It's laughable and should be treated as such by the Integrity Units.

"From my understanding he joined the club in 2024 as a 20 year old. So 2024-2025 he esentially played JF with one cup appearance in 2025. Not sure from where we got him from."
"Haha yes I have the receipt. I should ask for a job lol"

No, a rising 30yo who has seen better days. Probably the best player to put the Eel jersey on since Sterlo. But I would much rather Bev at this stage. & also remember how our big 4 knocked back manly dollars, to stay with the Eels. People put shit on the 'bus driver', but along with Sterlo, he goes down as an Eel legend & one of three best players I have seen in the B & G.- By the way, Hayne is no. 3.in my eyes. 2009 was a special last 10 games, Hayne was on fire, & no other player on tne planet could touch him. That try against the Dragonjs, when he jinked, danced & seemed to spin on the spot, beating nine players was absolutely sublime. Definitely one of the best of all time, but the new breed is oming through
An injury is an injury. Coincidences are coincidences.
He would love nothing more then to instrumental in beating us and show BA
Unless it was a "hand shake promise" he made to the club when he left??
Did you see Hayne walk off the field.. hardly a limp. If his ankle was as bad as they say he would not have walked from the field.
I don't think it has anything to do with the Eels I don't think he wants to play at all & is only back for the money.
When i saw him attempt to hobble off the field, it did look very like a put on. I know im not a doctor but in the 40 years i have been watching league i think he really didn't looklike what i have come to see as a moderately injured player. His body language is really telling. To me ge clearly is in a place he doesn't want to be and a place where he is increasingly unwelcome.
Its funny how just like his boyfriend deciding that he was too big for swimming, Hayne thought he was too big for league and has come back to find out that it is the game that actually outgrew him.
