As Hayne waits to learn his fate from the NRL match review committee over a kneeing incident in Friday night's win against the Bulldogs, Ennis spoke for every fan when he declared the Eels superstar should be there for next Sunday's showpiece event.
"If you take Jarryd Hayne out of the grand final you probably take 30,000 fans away from ANZ Stadium," Ennis said.

Let's be honest, there was nothing in the Hayne incident. There was no malice, no intent for Hayne to hurt anyone. I just hope the NRL puts the whole issue to rest and lets Jarryd Hayne get on with the best week of his career.
To even consider suspending him is ridiculous. No one got seriously hurt. Sure, it was clumsy, but you don't ruin a bloke's dream for an act like that.
