Hayne and Keating? :(

what are your thoughts?Hayne didnt intend on hitting goodwin and actually tried to pull out(i think), but point of the matter is, he kneed him in the head..........that's not good, if this was anyone else or in a less important game i think he would of got suspended, but we're talking about the NRL's golden boy coming into a grand final.Thoughts?I'm not sure about keating, i didnt really see it cause of every jumping and going "aaawww" when it happened(i know, i didnt go to the game :( )i didnt think it was toooo bad and i think he might play, but the NRL is pretty hard on chicken wings.hhhmmmmmThoughts?

  • ok firstly on hayne, i think if melbourne were to make the grandfinal the tag would be "hayne v slater" so they won't suspend him (hopefully), and i reckon he tried to pull out and had too much momentum wrong place at wrong time but who knows

keating i was kind of annoyed at the call, the guy tried to fend him off and his arm got caught in a bad position, by no means did keating intentionally put him in a chicken wing

    those are my views nonetheless
  • Thurston kicked the Wolfman in the head and got a grade 1. That's all Hayne needs to escape suspension as he has no carry over points. No malice in it, running at top speed to save the try, I'd hope that he plays....
  • how many carry over points has hayne got?
  • who cares we need 2 million dollar man next year
    • and this year lol, we're still going :D:D:D:D:D
  • Hayne stuffed up a bit tonight, I really think the pressure of the worlds greatest has got to him a little, not that he was not still brilliant, but I think he should be safe, and if not, tonight showed we are not a one man team! We could win anyway!!!
    • but i think having hayne in the side gives the team more confidence, knowing hayne can do something out of nothing if it is really needed. just because hayne is quiet (by his standard mind you) don't take away the confidence he brings to the team.
  • That wasn't a chicken wing tackle, it was an unfortunate side effect of playing a contact sport. Nothing malicious in it at all.
Same goes for Hayne, a rolling bouncing ball is open slather for anyone chasing it.
If the judiciary charge him they are a joke. We might as well all start watching poxy old AFL...
  • Jazza will make it through. Keating's case is a worry.
  • hayne was a pure accident he has clean record and isnt a dirty player im sure common sense will prevail , as for keating he may be in trouble
