Hayne and Hoppa

Just came across this in an article. What's the odds of us resigning both Hayne and Hoppa? Im almost certain Jarryd will re-sign, he has been loyal his entire career, stuck with us through the tough times and he absolutely loves parra. I can't see him leaving now when the future is unbelievably bright. Hoppa is a very loyal bloke and I get the feeling that he wants to stay at the club long term. I really hope we re-sign both! It worries me a bit though given the amount of young talent we have coming through. Pauli Pauli and Jr Paulo will be worth a bit when their contracts are up for renewal and Pauli in particular will be will have just about every team chasing him given he is one of the hottest young prospects in the game. As disappointing as it is, we will more then likely lose some of our young guns, but hopefully BA and Scott Sweard can work there magic. I'd love to see Hayne, Hoppa, Peats, Pauli, Jr, and Kelepi all signed long term! Hopefully it's a possibility.

    • Yeah I agree.
  • Hayne will be a bulldog, the reason the bulldogs have not signed a fullback is because of this man. They will throw everything at him and make sure he signs. He won't be an eel come 2016.
    • Whatever Troll
    • Ha pure speculation, plenty of money has been thrown at Hayne before. Dont you think the EELs would resign Hayne before the the end of next year? Hayne had the chance to move before when the Eels were last, why would he leave now. He is a massive fan of BA, he has a young and exciting team around him all Eels Juniors, which he leads.

I can tell you one thing, DCE will be a Bronco. They have the money and they will be throwing everything at him to make sure he signs. Broncos are super confident of signing him. DCE's dad has many connections with the Broncos coaching staff and Anthony Griffin.

DCE is unhappy at Manly, there is true resentment against him, now that Glenn Stewart is leaving. Sam Thaiday and Matt Gillett has been in his ear too during the last two origin games..

Do you think Brett is going to stick around too? You have a young Hiku, but compared to Brett Stewart he is nothing, he's already displayed a few cracks in his game. Jamie Lyon is close to retirement.

FYI Broncos offered him $1.1m a year, you think Manly can match that?

      Good luck Scott!

    • How f$&k your life that you have to blog in another teams supporters group!! Bloody looser!!!
    • Ill go to every parra home game naked if hayne goes to dogs. Very confident he will sign with eels.
    • Hey Scott u are a wanker
  • Funny how you know what's going to happen, and people that are close to the club, players & staff including Hayne think not!!! So I think your only coming on here to stir the pot because your own club going thru shit with infighting, players not getting on & the Broncos throwing everything at DCE. So really? You know f$&k all!!!
  • And Watmouth is heading to Parra next year and I agree that DCE is heading up north, the Stewaert Brothers will be at the Pests next year, so gee Scotty, looks like Manly are screwed next year. So, have a look at your crappy team before you lay shit on Parra, okay? Now be a good little girl and bugger off!
