If nothing else, it proves why it is 1000% idiotic to chew up so much salary cap on one player and why it was such a good decision not to get caught up in a stupid bidding war for his services.
I don't care how good you are. Humans drop balls, get injured. have emotional or mental crises, and some even consort with criminals. Its just the simple adage of not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Couldn't agree more. The Eels proved this season that we don't need show ponies at our club taking up all the salary cap & providing pretty much NOTHING ( Foran ). We need players that want to be Eels.
