I was driving through the drive-thru of Hungry Jacks/Burger King on Parramatta Rd at Haberfield, and had a WTF,are you serious? moment.
The drive-thru is basically an enclosed tunnel where the carbon monoxide,diesel fumes and carcinogenics would be at a level where Chernobyl would be a kid's holiday camp.
The sign said "We value the health of our employees,please don't smoke at this window".
I was gobsmacked.It is almost at the same level as the "For your convenience..." signs.You know..For your convenience this toilet will no longer be supplied with toilet paper..... this ATM will only operate between the hours of 11:45 am and 11:55 am..etc.
Anyone else spotted any signs that make you wonder "Who did that guy blow to get that job of coming up with dumb notices?"

My sons soccer team now has to wait till they turn 10 to play for points cause we don't want to make the poor little darlings feel as though they are losers. In life there are winners and losers and the sooner the kids understand this the better.
Also there is a push at school now to change the report gradings. The PC brigade want to eliminate marks such ad Ds and Fs so we don't make our children feel as though they are inadequate or dumb. Well how are the kids supposed to know or understand if they have done well or need extra help to achieve better results and improve.
PC has to stop or society will be overrun by this madness. You're right Tom, somewhere someone sits down and comes up with this crap which just makes you wonder about life.
