Cameron Munster may not be off-contract until the end of 2023, but it hasn't stopped multiple clubs from inquiring about signing him before then.
The Melbourne Storm have made it publically very clear they won't be releasing Munster before the end of his contract, viewing him as irreplaceable.
Not only that, but the club are still confident they can convince Munster to re-sign beyond the end of 2023 despite a pay cut, warding off the advances of other clubs including the Dolphins, Brisbane Broncos and Canterbury Bulldogs among others.
Up to seven clubs have been rumoured to show interest in Munster, with manager Braith Anasta already reportedly holding talks with the Dolphins in recent weeks.
The Daily Telegraph have now revealed that the Parramatta Eels, Manly Sea Eagles and North Queensland Cowboys are interested in getting their hands on Munster for 2023 via player swap deals.
The report suggests Jakob Arthur, Kieran Foran and Scott Drinkwater have all been offered to the Storm in return, who aren't interested in listening to any offers for their star Queensland and Australian representative half........
I don't know who this Scott Pryde is, but do you think this story has legs????

Jake Arthur for Munster.... and people said BA has no sense of humour.
Gold!
Lol
Only as far as clickbait. That's the only reason they mentioned Parra.

Interesting if true... but sounds like a massive stretch.
Can't believe Melbourne did offer to do the deal immediately with cash our way once JA was thrown up as the swap for Munster! Maybe it could be a package deal with Matt and Brad as well?
Not really. DB to fullback and Gutho to hooker or centre
We fit them all under the cap by reluctantly letting Jake Arthur go, Coryn.
Like when Roosters let Pearce go they were able to sign Cronk, and extend Tedesco & Crighton on long term big $$ deals.
Tongue in cheek, Coryn. Im with you, no way to fit those 4 under a cap without having serious issues elsewhere. Personally dont believe Eels involvement in this story at all.
Yeah they signed Tedesco and Cronk in the same off season. Crichton might have been a year later? Tedesco and Cronk joined 2018 for their title. Crichton joined in 2019 for their second title.
The Roosters are, no doubt, incredible cap cheats.
When Tedesco and Cronk signed they initially said Pearce was going to stay too, and play hooker, but he spat the dummy and asked for a release.
I'm calling BS on this Coryn, Brown is our future.
