Have we left it too late?

I know we are probably the best team in the comp at the moment - but have we left it a shade too late? - It's very hard to come from outside the top four & win - just think, 1 or 2 of those close games (Cronulla, Titans, Panthers), shit - we could be 2nd or 3rd - I wanna smash the Drags next week & maybe 6th - then we can (possibly) afford a loss. I mean, I think there's a reason no-one has won so many games in a row to win a competition - Pressure & expectation can become too much. So impressed with the maturity that Hayne has shown - Honestly, there's been a picture of him in the paper every day for the last 3 weeks - but he just seems to handle it! - The face of the game!! - I'd be very surprised if he doesn't win the Dally M & Morts the Rookie.

I've been thinking the same thing, whether we've peaked before the finals.

Sounds very obvious, but it depends on the coach and players .. whether they can keep turning up with their best game and keep the momentum going. I think they can .. they are playing with belief in themselves, their teamates and they have supreme confidence.

It was nice to have an "easy" game against the Panthers, so they didn't have to maintain the same sort of intensity that they did against the tigers. That must help.

we have made the 8, so we have not left it too late, other teams wish we left too late!

At the end of the day, we just have to qualify. Once we are there, we just have th be the best team on each given day for 4 weeks. I think we have th self belief to go all the way. Oh, and Jarryd Hayne needs to play all 4 games!
