I don't want to sound like I'm making excuses, I think overall the team is lacking some forward punch at the moment which I think is the main reason we haven't won a game yet, but this weekend really could be the start of our season given the opposition we have faced.
Round 1 + 5 Panthers, Panthers are unreal this year, they went up to Cowboys stadium and beat them the week before they played us and a lot more convincingly.
Round 2 Manly, Brookvale hit job, Manly have been wanting to get back at us for years from all the times we have bashed them, they've got a decent pack this year and another top 8 team.
Round 3 Sharks, another top 8 team in my opinion, strong experienced lineup.
Round 4 Tigers, a team in so much form there star recruit Josh Reynolds cant even get a start in.
All in all I repeat no excuses, but we have played the best looking team in the comp twice (panthers) and the rest. Things will change. Chill out all. BA wont go that would be a complete disaster and would guarantee us no Premierships for 5+ years, BA may not get us this year, but he is gonna go close the next few years.

We have played teams that are in form while we have been bad but on the flip side other top rated teams like Storm, Cowboys, Broncos have also been poor and by the time we play them they will probably be in good form.
Realistically, out of the teams we have played so far only the Panthers are a better team than parra with the Sharks about equal, we should have at least 2 wins by now, possibly 3 if we were having a go.
I can't remember another year when, in the first nine games, we play 4 teams twice?? - Effing ridiculous!!
Theres only 1 problem Maj - arent we supposed to be premiership contenders this year?
Undoubtedly nothing has gone right. And now our confidence is shot to pieces.
Our forwards are a massive concern. Massive!!!!
Last year Matagi and Vave got us some real go forward and also had an offload and before the line pass. They’re both MIA.
Scott was terrorising opposition halves and his initial contact was sublime. He was stopping trains in their tracks. Sadly he’s struggling to keep up.
Alvaro was always average but has gone backwards.
In my opinion all our problems start there.
We go forward and good things happen.
We stop opposition sides rolling forward and good things happen.
Our pack was respected as one that scraps over a bone.
This year we’re the worst pack in the comp. Easily.
Without a doubt Mutt
The only game where I really lost my shit was the Manly one and pulling the season out of the fire exists somewhere in the realm of possibility. Mass sackings or burning effegies aren't going to inch us any closer to the statistically unlikely event of a grand final win so I'm just gonna keep suspending disbelief, supporting and expect the team to do their absolute best till the end of the year. What happens after the season is over can wait till after the season is over.
It might be nuts but it's the sanest thing an Eels supporter could do.
Eels are good things this week.
Hahahaha.
How many can you fit in your top 8 and who has missed out?
