True super but the eels golden sides of 80's were winning grand finals with a relatively small forward pack. Especially when compared to some of the other forwards packs running around back then.

Agree with you on that point Michael, if crappy joe moves on. Nothing has changed, forwards do the hard yards and win games. The only difference is souths played as a team and went up and smashed the roosters in defence where our forwards stay back and wait to see what the other team is going to do. They need to get up in their face and bash them as a team instead of hanging back.
Just read BA's 2014 review on the Club Website. At least he seems to have taken some notice as he has indicated that there will be a massive emphasis on getting the boys more physically dominant, i.e. strength & power, during the pre-season.
