Hasler must be on life support now.

I'm just watching the Manly v Canterbury game thinking that the Bulldogs are just terrible. Not terrible like the Knights who have a poor roster, justawful attitude and commitment. They are a team who for quite a time IMO are not responding to Des Hasler. If I were dogs management, I would be moving very quickly to guzump any bid the Tigers were making for Ivan Cleary and secure his services ASAP. Des is IMO a proven great coach but no longer a good fit for the dogs. Might look great as a Tiger. In saying all of that, i am enjoying seeing the Bulldogs struggling, but i do hate seeing Manly having such a comfortable win.

  • he can work on his hilarious impressions full
    time soon.
weirdly enough, don't Manly want him back??
  • Des Hasler be the next coach to be sack and the bulldogs will replace him with Jason Taylor LOL

  • Worse still for the Dogs, Mnly's second half has been nothing special.
  • We just need to ensure we are on the up.
  • Ouch!! 38-0 fulltime. Dogs cant even get on the board.
    Top 8 team?? No way
  • Yep it all looks tired and broken now for the Dogs. They've run out of ideas and look poorly coached. Whether they are poorly coached is another question but they certainly play like it.
I don't think a new coach will fix these either. I think they've held on to some players too long and recruited poorly in key positions. But on top of that their unconventional game plan is just vomit and it's not changing at all.
    Des will be sacked imo.
    • Weren't there claims recently by Massoud that the Bulldogs had agreed to extend Des for 2 more years.... they were just waiting for a win to announce it lol!

Guess they won't be announcing it this week....
    • Not sure I agree Precious.
Sure they showed a bit more ball movement in early games.
I saw their win against the Warriors and it was a bludger of a match. I wasn't convinced. I don't think anything has changed from last year.
  • The Dogs have over achieved in the past 2 seasons. If they finish above 12th this year, they will have over achieved once again. They have the worst spine in the comp, there #9 has zero spark, there #7 is a running centre with no direction and a park footballers kicking game, there #6 is the most over rated player in the comp and he runs further across field then he does forward and there regular #1 (not on sundays) is slow and predictable.

  • Haha...changerooms of the world be on your guard?
